Hello @BlackArch team,

I enabled your default worldwide mirror. The package database is downloading, but it throws an "unrecognized archive format" error. I also tried mirrors from other countries, but the same issue occurred.
Even ChatGPT and other AI tools could not solve this issue.
Despite this, I skipped the error and managed to install the full operating system, but when I try to update it, the same error appears again.
As part of the cybersecurity community, we believe that without fixing this issue, the community might lose access to one of the most powerful operating systems in the cybersecurity field.
Also, please try to update the 2023 ISO.

I agree the ISO needs an update.

First see https://archlinux.org/news/cleaning-up-old-repositories/, you need to remove community repo from pacman.conf.
