How to fillet a 90 degree corner with varying mask angle?

I want to add a fillet to the base (bottom face) of this shape:

The side facing you is 90 degrees to the base, the left and right edges are less than or greater than 90.

I took a look at join_prism() and prism_connector() , don't think those will work because my 3D shape cannot be described with 2D shapes in the plane of the connection.

My idea to solve this is to build the fillet around the corner one $fa at a time -- quite painful! Hoping for a better solution.

May be able to do this with offset_sweep() using a custom profile, but not sure that's any easier than your proposed solution.

Actually rounded_prism() can also make that fillet, but you'll have issues joining it to the rest of your shape, I fear.

rounded_prism() is the solution. It was not difficult to blend into the ycyl() once I learned to adjust k value in rounded_prism.
