DART - ERROR: Unexpected process died... respawning

After running through the DART Installation page, when I start DART from the COSMOS Launcher, it gets to the 'Data Monitoring process...', then begins showing 'ERROR: Unexpected process died... respawning!' for each of the Dart processes. Any ideas on what the issue is?

My first guess is that Postgres is not setup and running. Did you set that up before running DART?

Try running one of the ruby ... lines manually and see what happens. Like:
ruby /home/centos/.rbenv/versions/2.5.7/lib/ruby/gems/2.5.0/gems/cosmos-4.4.2/lib/cosmos/dart/processes/dart_stream_server.rb

I ran the above and got: private method 'require' called for Bundler:Module (NoMethodError).

I used 'bundle check' in my project directory and it says I have all of the gems installed. When I run 'bundle check' in /home/centos/.rbenv/versions/2.5.7/lib/ruby/gems/2.5.0/gems/cosmos-4.4.2/lib/cosmos, it says that I am missing gems and should run 'bundle install'.

When setting up DART, should I also go to that directory and run 'bundle install'?

I realized if I run "ruby ../.rbenv/versions/2.5.7/lib/ruby/gems/2.5.0/gems/cosmos-4.4.2/lib/cosmos/dart/processes/dart_stream_server.rb" from my project directory, I get this error:

/home/centos/.rbenv/versions/2.5.7/lib/ruby/gems/2.5.0/gems/cosmos-4.4.2/lib/cosmos/system/system.rb:366:in block (2 levels) in process_file': undefined method getColor' for Cosmos:Module (NoMethodError)

@ryanatball I finally pinpointed the issue: For the COSMOS project I'm working on, we have the 'CLASSIFICATION' set in the config/system/system.rb in our project directory to place the green unclassifed banner across the top of the COSMOS screens. Since DART opens in a generic gnome-terminal, COSMOS cannot put the banner across the terminal window (at least, that is what I got from this).

One I commented out the 'CLASSIFICATION' option in config/system/system.rb, DART no longer has processes dying.

Wow this is something I bet no one around here has tried. Thanks for tracking this down.

COSMOS DART does not support the CLASSIFICATION option since it opens in a generic gnome-terminal.
