Looking at the docs:

It says:
extension_settings | <xref:JSON>
and the type is not linked like others, I am guessing it's meant to be something else like for example a string? or a stringified json? :)

JSON means MutableMapping[str, Any] which is similar with Dict[str, Any].

I think this missed my point, I am saying all your other types are links with descriptions: https://docs.python.org/3/library/stdtypes.html#str is string; https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/python/api/azure-mgmt-monitor/azure.mgmt.monitor.v2022_06_01.models.knownextensiondatasourcestreams?view=azure-python KnownExtensionDataSourceStreams and https://docs.python.org/3/library/stdtypes.html#list for List would be the three in the screenshot. JSON is not defined as a valid type with a link in your "create the docs" script. So either json is not a valid type in your model or it's just missing the link to describe it properly :)
