Arming Button hidden - When running the FGCS as soon as messages start displaying over the left of the screen, they display over the top of the arming button so you can't press it.
No "force arm" - if you switch away to another screen and then back to the dashboard, are very quick and click the arm button button before the messages appear, an error is displayed, and you can't arm. There doesn't seem to be a way to "force arm".
Change Mode - the current mode "manual" is displayed at boot, but there doesn't seem too any way to change modes.
Download logs - there is a log analysis that tries to open an existing log from your computer, but there doesn't seem to be any way to load or download a log from the FC.

Arming Button Hidden - This is to do with the screen size of your computer, the best way to resolve this is to zoom out with ctrl -, to zoom back in you will need to do ctrl shift +

No "force arm" - We have to functionality written and will implement soon

Change Mode - This should be working, can you send a screenshot to help us debug?

Download Logs - This is something we hadn't thought about yet, it will be added to the todo list

Regarding Change mode. Here's a screenshot. There is no button for modes.

Ah I understand the issue, it's being hidden as it's displayed "underneath your screen". I've started working on a fix for that so I'll keep you updated.

Also those messages are too hard to read. Red on black text and too small. I'd never be able to read that at the field.

Hey Tim,
We've been working on the UI so that its a bit more dynamic. This includes resizable sections for telemetry and messages, and a "outside visibility mode" so that information is easier to read on the field. I've attached a video as a demonstration, if it looks good please checkout to branch #264 (https://github.com/Project-Falcon/FGCS/tree/264-create-a-more-dynamic-ui) and we'll release it in the next alpha version asap. There is no build for this yet so you will have to run it manually following the instructions on our README.md

An update to this, we've just released version 0.1.4-alpha which includes this UI change. You can update to the latest FGCS version here. Thanks for all your feedback so far, it's been really great!

It looks better, but I can't figure out how to trigger the "outside visibility mode". Also how can I connect to an FC via UDP?

Outside visibilty mode can be triggered by a button on the right hand side of the screen

Update: Just realised a typo where "on" and "off" have accidentally switched places, apologies for that.

I'm working on connecting to a device over both TCP and UDP via a connection string, looking to release that soon in 0.1.5-alpha, targeting for next week as I'd like to bundle some auto test suite's with SITL etc.

I think your outside connection button is backwards. When it says "turn it on", it's already on as far as I can see (and vice versa).
