Question about rel=me verification with remote actor profiles
I’ve been thinking — even if remote actor profiles are implemented, displaying the
rel=me
verification status would require a separate process. In fact, on most other Fediverse platforms, it's uncommon to show therel=me
verification status for remote actors, and usually, this is handled only for local actors.What I actually want is to have a way to confirm, within my own instance, whether the
rel=me
links for a local actor have been properly verified and to display that status (via an icon, badge, or background color, for example).Is this something that’s currently being considered in the roadmap? Or would this still need to be implemented separately for local actors?
