Issue with hub and node connection

I was struggling for last few days to make it work and just checking for your inputs to see if you can help

I have two company laptops. I am using one has hub and another as node..

Started appium server with the below code in node machine and it started successfully.
appium server -ka 800 --use-plugins=device-farm --config ./node-config.json -pa /wd/hub

Then I started appium server in hub machine as below and getting error
appium server -ka 800 --use-plugins=device-farm --config ./node-config.json -pa /wd/hub

Could not configure appium server.... waitin for node server https://ipaddress:4723 to be up and running

Any suggestions.

No Sai. It showing timeout error..
But when manually run selenium grid hub and node i on different laptops, node is able to register..

Now i am able to register after putting the lab machines in same subnet etc
