C++ wrapper for Delphi for more performance?

With an edge count of 8000, the Delphi 64-bit version has a performance of 200, the C++ version only of 15. Wouldn't it make a lot of sense to provide a wrapper around the C++ code to unlock the excellent performance of C++ for Delphi 64 apps?
