@Anduin2017: Great thing, will give it a try. It would be great to have a switch option in the design settings area: Windows 11 or Windows 10.

I dont like Windows 11 and also the new, so terrible Design.
The Windows 10 design is imho better.

Tried those 2 lines, layout changed a bit, the image is private so I cannot zoom to see details. Where is that ArcMenu ?

ArcMenu settings -> Menu -> Menu Layout -> Traditional Menu Layout -> ArcMenu.

Then the start menu will be more looking like Windows 10.

if I want to revert back, do I need to save dconf before and reapply it? It would be nice to have the option to use either the existing menu (bottom, center), or the win10 menu (bottom, left).

dconf dump / > dconf-settings.ini     (save current)
apply win10 layout
dconf load / < dconf-settings.ini     (revert)

It's always suggested to backup your dconf.

However, switching back will not lose any config. Just to move the start menu to the center, run:
