Is any method for the install Palemoon and Basilisk browsers from tarball? I have latest AnduinOS based on Ubuntu 25.04, but Palemoon and Basilisk don't work. Any help? |

What do you mean "doesn't work"? Does the installation finish successfully? What would happen if trying to start the app? Any error in the log? |

I must installed xulrunner 29 from tarball and libdbus-glib.deb from launchpad. Now Palemoon and Basilisk work |

Initially, I didn't install any additional packages. I installed Palemoon or Basilisk and it launched successfully. Firefox, provided by the Mozilla Team, was already installed on Anduinos. So, I assumed the dependencies for Palemoon or Basilisk were already met. run apt-cache show firefoxThere is a Package Entry, shown as follows ================================================ According to what you mentioned, I re-tested on "AnduinOS 1.3.4 ISO / Live System". I installed "Palemoon" and executed the following command palemoonThe message displayed is as follows I installed "Basilisk" and executed the following command basiliskThe message displayed is as follows ================================================ run apt-cache search libdbusshow
You can see two key pieces of information
run dpkg -l '*libdbus*'show ================================================ So I executed the following command to install libdbus-glib-1-2. sudo apt-get install libdbus-glib-1-2Then execute again, I can successfully start Palemoon. palemoonThen execute again, I can successfully start Basilisk. basilisk================================================ I went back to my original environment and found that libdbus-glib-1-2 was already installed. That's why when I first tested it, I could successfully start Palemoon or Basilisk without installing any additional packages. dpkg -l '*libdbus*'show |
