Description
Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I am unsure how to get this started. The listed "requirements" are a version of PoSh, a Windows workstation (still referencing Win7?) and a Windows server (still referencing 2008r2?), but then it talks about a SQL database. Is that a requirement? Where is the database referenced in the configuration? What is the WebService? Do I need to configure something (i.e. be an admin) on the CM server?
I am not an SCCM/MECM server admin, but I do support a subset of workstations and servers managed by it. Being able to maintain the health of the clients would be great, and this tool gets a lot of praise. I would like to try it out, but it would be tremendously helpful if someone could write up a quick step-by-step for using it.
Since there hasn't been any changes in 2+ years, I'm also wondering if this is still even a useful tool? Has Azure and related cloud services or just the difficulty of keeping up with changes made this obsolete?
Thanks!
