Mainly as regards the psalms where there are two different ways of 'counting' them, it often happens that in the compare view, selecting one psalm, not all translations will be showing the same. E.g. open psalm 50:1, and LXX by CrossWire and LXX by STEP Bible will show different Psalms. Other translations will also have different verses, where one in 1 has one part, the other in 2, or one starts in 2 (counted as 1) whereas the other has an Introductory verse 1... See screenshot in other post.
Describe the solution you'd like
That somehow AndBible "sync"s this. That it makes sure that all bibles/translations picked in compare view actually show the same verse - despite their using a different way of counting ... In the concrete example: psalm 50 in LXX_th corresponds to 49 in LXX. There should be a way to know which system each document uses, and then pick the right "spot" in order to be "on the same page". This is easier I guess for chapters (psalms) than for differences in verses ... If at least the first could be implemented that would be great!
This may also call for an adaption in the book selector (or in the general settings) to pick for a counting system, or in the list display both numbers indicating which is according to which somehow ... Also good for when you're searching for the right one but don't know to which number it corresponds in AndBible.
Thanks very much!
