mini-timelapse will not play

On both my local & remote websites I can't get the mini-timelapse to play. I get
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource
The timelapse video is in the mini-timelapse folder on both websites and the url "mini-timelapse/" is in both config files.
The folder permissions are 777 the same as everything else.
It worked OK when I first used it but somehow it just stopped working.
I've today upgraded to the latest version using my old settings but still it errors.

This sounds like a browser problem. Can you try a different browser, ideally on a different device?

If that also fails, can you copy either the timelapse or mini-timelapse to a PC or MAC, and try to play it there?

Also, please run:

cd ~/allsky/tmp
identify *.mp4

The identify command should tell us if the video file is corrupted.

Did you give the folders 777 permission? Allsky makes folders 775 or 755. Giving write permission to "other" is never a good idea.

As usual with me, its user error. I was pointing the browser, like full timelapses, to the folder not the video file. Also when I checked the file mini-timelapse.mp4 it didn't have the exec permission.
