Website hosting allsky

Hello everyone,

I want to use my allsky on the outside internet. Do you have any hosting sites to suggest?
I've tried “Alwaysdata” but it's impossible to configure. I always get error messages when I run ./remoteWebsiteInstall.sh

I've been using ionos.com (also known as 1and1.com) for 20 years and have been very happy. I'll never use "unlimited" disk space or 500 ftp logins.
You can look in the GitHub discussions but there's one site (don't remember the name) that at least 2 people are having problems with. Someone else has a hosting solution that only allows logging in from known IP addresses - stay away from that. It was a PAIN to get his remote Website working.
I believe there are some free sites but they usually have a fairly small disk limit. For many people that's fine, but be aware of any limit.

Please attach ~/allsky/config/logs/remoteWebsiteInstall.log so I can see the problems you're having. Also, run testUpload.sh --website and send the output as well as the file(s) it references. If you can FTP into a site, Allsky should be able to get there too. It's just a matter of finding what FTP configuration settings to use.

Indeed, it must be a problem of parameter setting but for the moment, I can't make any progress.

Maybe the “Alwaysdata” solution isn't designed for this.

The error you are getting is "the login or password are incorrect".
Can you ftp into the server using a client like FileZilla? Of so, make sure you enter the same username and password into the WebUI. If you are still having problems, ask Alwaysdata what configuration settings are needed, and what the name is of the FTP server you are using.

I can connect to the site with FileZilla. I use the same credentials in the WebUI settings, but without success.
I've sent a request to support.

In the meantime, I'm looking into other hosting solutions. I'm currently looking at O2switch. I'll see what comes up.

I managed to install the remote website. I've switched to O2switch.

However, I'm stuck afterwards. With filezilla, I can see that all the TeamAllsky files are in the “Allsky” folder.

How do I display this on the website?
I've installed Wordpress to modify the site but I'm having trouble displaying the image of the allsky and all the related information.
