Remote access to web allsky

I have been looking for the past 3 days at all the discussions and have not found anything on how to remotely access to the allsky web site that works fine on the local network,
Also looking at a way to give access to the public to the live view on the allsky web site

I have the same Problem. How can i change the webserver port from 80 to xx in the software or the raspi

You will need to open a port on your Internet router so incoming requests can get in to the Pi. You'll also need an Internet IP address, and optionally a domain name, e.g., http://myallsky.com. How you do this depends on your hardware and Internet provider, and is outside the scope of the Allsky software. And if not done correctly can be a security risk, hence the reason we don't describe how to do it.

Edit /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf to change the port number. Note that you'll need to do that every time you update the WebUI.

i can´t change the port in the file,because the file is write protect and i don´t know to change this.

Hi Eric, don´t work.
your comment create a new file lighttpd.conf. I can´t edit this file and i can´t delete the original and the new created file.

@marco050969 it looks like you have a period at the end of the filename that shouldn't be there.
Files in /etc can only be added, edited, and deleted by root, so you need to use sudo.
My suggestion had a period at the end because it closed the sentence. The highlighted part is what you should execute:

sudo geany /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf

If you need to remove the file with a period at the end:

sudo rm /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf.
