Rig to VAST transfer -- repo organization

If there are tools that are useful for the data transfer from rig to VAST (e.g. folder organization/naming conventions, acquisition.json creation, etc.), do people think that this repo is the appropriate place for them?

With the current organization of this repo, I'm not sure where this type of (instrument specific) thing would go. Maybe it's better to leave this repo as a server/cloud tools focused project.
