Myelin annotation question

Hi,
I'm interesting in exploring the myelin annotations recently released through the VORTEX efforts, but I'm having some trouble visualizing the annotations with the current tutorials. Would it be possible to provide the code used to add myelin sheaths to the basket cell neuron seen here https://tutorial.microns-explorer.org/vortex-overview.html and/or more explicit instruction for adding myelin annotations to meshes/skeletons.

Hi, thank you for the question. Right now we have a limited number of myelin annotations because they are entirely manual, but automatic detection of myelin on proofread cells is a feature we are developing and will be released later this year.

To generate that plot of that basket cell with myelin, we now have a vignette analysis showing exactly how to generate it here: https://tutorial.microns-explorer.org/examples/basket_cell_myelin.html

You can drop-in replace that root id for any of the 5 ids in the 'valid_id' list to see the annotations on other cells. There are a few more cells annotated in versions 1181 and 1300, but dense annotations remain limited to a handful for cells.
