Custom screen size support for title screens?

So, I'm running the Trilogy at 1280x960 for that authentic feeling. The title screens are always super small though:

When the game actually starts, it adjusts to the desired screen size:

Is there a way to have the title screen also a custom size? Could this be added to Aleph One? Or, is there a setting for this already?
