I'm having an issue getting this to work with asbplayer. It may be because it is my first time trying to use it to learn Japanese but I had other subtitles that did work but they seemed to be for the wrong episode on kitsunekko after unsuccessfully trying to sync it a few time.

After downloading a subtitle file, load it into mpv. You can do this in two ways:

• Rename the subtitle file to match the anime episode's filename (excluding the file extension), then restart mpv.
• Drag and drop the subtitle file into the mpv window.
