So im currently using OVHCloud Virtual Private Server for Edge server with 2Gbps unmetered, but their Anti DDOS kicks in at around 1Gbps. so not good. i'm using AWS for Origin mostly.
my use-case is near realtime streaming 1080p 30fps 5000Kbps

anyone got recommendations for Edge and Origin servers host. AWS, Azure are 10x to expensive for WebRtc Edges. need Unmetered bandwidth for Edges

I use OVH but haven't attempted transmitting beyond 500Mbps or so. Interested to hear more about their anti-DDOS measures/policies if you have any more info...

I created an incident ticket on OVH trying to them to raise the threshold for when its triggered.
they do a bit scammy stuff like not mentioning the CPU details, so I bought 1 month 2 x 8 core servers one in Canada and one in France, the same model. Buuuuut the CPU's in France are at least 20% slower than the once I got in Canada. looking at the specs one is 2.95Ghz the other is just over 2Ghz.. so different models but sold for as same product.

FYI Response from OVH regarding my Anti-ddos ticket

"Unfortunately is not possible to disable the Anti-ddos within our servers 
due to lack of security that could cause on our Infrastruture.

Secondly, on VPS is not possiblle to increase or change the profiles or tresholds. 
IPs linked to a VPS have a single profile and we cannot modify it.

For VPS that doesn't surprise me and I didn't even know you could hit their VPS with more than 500Mbit. But for bare metal are you seeing real-world traffic hitting invisible thresholds? Because I imagine running a simulated test like oven_rtc_tester could cause issues seeing as all of the connections are coming from one IP.

Im trying OVH out their public cloud, they very bit difficult to get started their management site is not that good, had to upfront put in fill up a wallet with 200 euro to unlock any real deployment quota's
but if the bandwidth claims are true, their public cloud is properly best value for money as can run and pay per hour 0.4$ (Pay-As-You-Go) for a 4Gbps or around $1 for 10Gbps.. and they have unto 20Gbps servers. Is good price because the public bandwidth is unmetered. so 10x cheaper then AWS and Azure. but will it hold up to thousands of stream... I'm yet to discover that. You have to suspend and resume the instance to stop the hourly billing , it's not enough to Stop and Start. so that abit like on Azure. and you will also need to code your own wake-up and suspend logic with their API's as these Public cloud resources are not for 24/7 . then they are way to expensive.

I was planing on using OVH public cloud as extra bandwidth , spin up if needed. so I coded some logic around the to automate wakeup and suspend and also to my own weighted round robin server selector.
