you always gen at those sizes and then it upscale/downscales as needed? That's exactly what the plugin does, and has been doing since the earliest versions (check your dumped workflows if in doubt). Resolution multplier is a relatively seldom used option, and moslty meant for the cases when one needs to add that extra bit of detail in the output that rendering at the current resolution won't deliver (enforced by values above 1.0). Just like the Preferred Resolution one in Checkpoint configuration (advanced), it's an override kind of parameter and is used in certian situations and by people who know what they are doing. I think it's a very logical addition to Kirta AI's functionality. i don't think the resolution slider does anything at all when using custom workflows. That may very well be the case - similalrly to the Batches one, if I remember correctly. |

i think the size and resolution you generate at are incredibly important, because models can behave weirdly when they are used with unsupported or weird resolutions. the resolution slider in the UI is too unclear and coarse for that.
not to mention that afaik, you can't see the exact resolution you're generating at.
maybe there should be a way to "lock" the generations into certain resolutions (like SDXL sizes), so that regardless the size of your selection or canvas you always gen at those sizes and then it upscale/downscales as needed? so you're always generating at "optimal" sizes?
also somewhat related: i don't think the resolution slider does anything at all when using custom workflows.
thanks for all your hard work btw. really appreciate this existing.
