Philips Pets Series integration: Setup fails with API error 400

Description

Since a few days ago, the Philips Pets Series integration in Home Assistant fails to set up, showing an API error.
Devices and entities are not available, and the integration keeps retrying.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Remove the Philips Pets Series integration from Home Assistant
2. Re-add the integration via the Configuration UI
3. Check logs or integration status

Expected Behavior

The integration should successfully connect to the API and discover devices and entities without errors.

Actual Behavior

The integration fails to set up and shows a repeated API error (400, Bad Request).

Environment Details

• Home Assistant Core version: 2024.11.3
• Home Assistant Supervisor version: 2024.11.4
• Operating System: 13.2
• Frontend version: 20241106.2
• Philips Pets Series integration version: 0.1.4
• Setup: Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant OS

Additional Context
This issue started occurring suddenly without any changes on my end.
The official Philips Pets Series app works fine without any errors.
I suspect the API URL or request might need adjustments.

I have the same error:

If I try to debug a little with Postman it seems that I am allowed to retrieve the events from today, for example:

https://petsseries-backend.prod.eu-hs.iot.versuni.com/api/homes/{{home_id}}/events?from=2024-12-02T01:03:57.063218315Z&to=2024-12-02T14:03:57.063218315Z&clustered=true&types=motion_detected

I can also use a shorter timestamp, such as 2024-12-02T01:03:57Z. However, the range given in the current setup with the incorrect timestamps is an issue. 2024-12-02T00:00:00Z until 2024-12-02T23:59:59Z is allowed, as soon as I try to set a range outside of today I get a 400 error.

Same here. Is it possible that the problem arrived with HA 14 ? Cause I have a lot of integration that failed now

They indeed don't allow getting events anymore for a longer time range than 24 hours, so that's sadly going to be a limit without spamming their api :(

Pushed out a new update, sorry it took a while, but it should be working again now 😁

if the update is not showing up yet, you can go to the "Philips Pet Series" page in HACS and click on update information. After that it will show as a new update in HA!

Maybe the tokens got expired or something? I updated the guide in the README slightly, could you try going through the step-by-step again and check if it does work now?

Well, I've uninstalled it, restarted HA, reinstall on HACS, restarted, add the integration and put the tokens but with no more luck

Figured that 24 hours would be the limit... Sort of sucks with building statistics but that's circumventable. After the update, my installation worked instantly, thanks @AboveColin!

@freeman59 Perhaps try logging in in an incognito window?

Same here. Last week I set it up for the first time, it recognized my devices but instantly also gave the auth 400 error. I then disabled the integration. During the past days I upgraded the integration (and rebooted, multiple times for numerous updates), and tried to enable it again. It was no luck, so I deleted the integration entirely and went to configure it again with new auth keys. However, now I also instantly get the "Invalid auth" message.
The first time I used a normal browser tab, now I tried with a normal and incognito but both did not work. Quite unfortunate, I hope this can be resolved where it is not Philips making too many adjustments.
