Describe the bug
the regular issues with Qt on wayland

To Reproduce

❯ python main/python/main.py 
Initialising RootPainter
Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
