I had that yesterday. For me it turned out that ui-config.json was suddenly an empty file. I copied it over from a backup and it works again.

I deleted cache.json and it`s work

It means it tries to read from a JSON file but it can't find any valid data.
I got this error after a crash and it turned out cache.json was empty. After I deleted the file the webui started up again.

The same,I got this , showed error on the checkpoint site and a small window said something went wrong expecting value :line 1 column 1 (char 0) and I couldn't training or drawing something due to no models to slect on that checkpoint site, I think is the same issue as the one mentioned above ,and I've tried to delete cache.json and 2 of other .json file and whatever and It still didn't work .Can anyone tell me what is going on with this problem and the solutions, my device is windows10 using AMD ryzen 9 5900x ,and my python version is 3.10

If you are using a proxy server, please turn it off.

Just got this same error out of nowhere, midway through generating images

I had the same issue just now.

Solved it by deleting some config files.
This will reset all of the settings you've set before.
You might want to check if one of the files has size 0, that might be the only file that needs to be deleted.

These are the files I deleted:

1. ui-config.json
2. cache.json
3. config.json

All of these files are generated again while the Automatic1111 is running.
The config.json is generated only after you save your settings once.

looks like your config.json was corrupted
basically this is the file that is used to store your settings
the easiest way to resolve this is to delete the existing config.json and let webui recreate it
