Installation error

When running the .bat file, I am getting a message that says:

Couldn't launch python

exit code: 9009

stderr:
Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

Launch unsuccessful. Exiting.
Press any key to continue . . .

I've installed python and checked the box that says "add python to PATH" not sure what the problem could be

Same issue here. Even tried running the .bat as Admin and installing Python to another location, making sure the path doesn't contain spaces.
Python looks to be added to PATH correctly too.

I ended up fixing the issue, I edited the .bat file and where it says "python=" I added the path to my python.exe file for example:
PYTHON=D:\user\python\python.exe

Not a silver bullet, but I recall after uninstalling and reinstalling python with add to path option set; I had to reboot windows for it to take effect and the new PATH to include python.

Good point, I already tried that though, just didn't mention it before. However setting the path to python manually in the .bat worked. I also installed the whole thing on another machine yesterday and didn't have any issues. So this is most likely caused by some system variable not being properly set for whatever reason.
