Issue with the behavior of Upgrade dialog at app launch

🐛 Describe the bug

When using the upgrader package to show the upgrade dialog immediately on app launch, the dialog unexpectedly closes without any user input.

This bug can be reproduced by not interacting with the upgrader dialog for 4-5 secs

Hey @M4dhav I've solved the bug and am opening a PR for the same, kindly review it and assign this to me

Also I also came across some code that can be removed to make the controller file more cleaner and removed some non-significant tests as well. Kindly check, if needed i can add them back
