During my simulation of the flame configuration shown in the figure below, I observed that PeleLMeX—initially stable—becomes prone to divergence once the flame front contacts the outflow boundary. I managed to achieve the stable state shown in the figure by adjusting the grid and CFL number. However, even in this stable state, the simulation occasionally diverges.
I noted that in the "Backward facing step anchored premixed flame" example, the flame also interacts with the outlet boundary, yet no divergence occurs. Do you have any recommendations to resolve this issue? Thank you for your attention.
