Cube.dev as semantic/API layer

Hey!
I stumbled upon Moose while randomly browsing the web. Stopped to read a bit as you seem to cater to a very specific niche on which I am currently working on.

Anywho, did you ever try out/talk with the developers at Cube.dev (previously Cube.js)? They market themselves as an open-source API and semantic layer to be put on top of the DW for forwarding/handling access control and caching.
I am currently using it in production at a client to power client-facing analytics with ClickHouse under the hood and it is working well. Just food for thought.

The stack also works really well with dbt, so I guess hiring for and maintaining such product would be rather easy.
