Containers running as root??

Hello,

Is there a way to create a non-root user, and issue all commands and processes as that non-root user?

I seem to not be able to find that. Already searched here and issues. I'm sorry if it's there somewhere and I couldn't find.

I understand.

I mean the containers that I run after, for example:

• Resty
• A Webapp in a runtime
• A Compose stack

All of these are running as root, and we could prevent that

Thank you for your suggestion. At the moment, our project does not plan to support running in a non-root mode, as this would involve significant architectural adjustments. We will evaluate it if there is a relevant need in the future.

To be clear, this would just require:

• to have a menu for "Users", to create user myusername, add it to docker group
• to change the invocation command sudo -u myusername docker compose ...

Hope this is clear. Maybe it helps understand it's not a big change as it may sound initially.

I know Vue well. I wish I knew Go so I could PR or fork!
